On November 12, the day of Diwali, we had an enchanting day filled with Diwali traditions taking us all back home. From Pooja, Aarati, and Rangoli to Sparklers, Dance, Music, and Diwali Gifts – it was a celebration to remember. The event kicked off with a blissful Aarati of Shri Mahalaxmi Mataji. The Gujarati Samaj’s cultural team embraced the challenge with a captivating Ramayan-themed play featuring very young talents, earning well-deserved appreciation. The spotlight, however, shifted to the kids who stole the show with fearless performances, outshining the adults. Despite a minor hiccup in the food supply from Taste of India, expertly handled by our volunteer team, the joyous atmosphere continued. Kids were thrilled with Diwali Gifts, and sparkles lit up the gathering.A huge shoutout to the dedicated committee members of Gujarati Samaj for their tireless efforts in making this event a success. As we bid farewell to the last event of 2023, we welcome the first event of Vikram savant 2080 with immense gratitude to all the participants and supporters. A special mention to the cultural team who seamlessly blended the essence of Diwali with a unique touch, showcasing the cultural richness of Gujarat even in the heart of Finland. The young talents of Gujarati Samaj Finland added a global flair to the event, leaving everyone enchanted.Despite the distance from the homeland, the Diwali spirit thrived, creating a cherished memory. A heartfelt thank you to all the committee members of Gujarati Samaj Finland for uniting all of us in the celebration of light and joy. Here's to Diwali transcending borders and creating everlasting bonds.
