28.9.2024 marked a special day in the history of Indian cultural events organized by small not-for-profit associations in Finland, and it's all thanks to the people who made it happen.
Every year, Gujarati Samaj Finland (a registered not-for-profit association since 2018) organizes a cultural Navaratri celebration. This year was unique. Our members, as well as members of the wider Finnish society, had always asked us to make the event grander yet traditional. And we listened!
All gathered participants at Energia Areena in Vantaa and celebrated the traditional Gujarati Garba with 1300 registered participants who secured their place with tickets.
